Golden Phoenix in Oklahoma City

Food was different for sure. Found out what lemon grass tastes like. I am sure you must have an acquired taste. Service was good. Bathrooms are close. If you want to know what a naked duck, naked chicken, and a cooked pigs face looks like, visit this establishment.

Great food, fast service, nice people, best experience

Food cooked very quick. Large portion size. Great flavor. Price was great for quality and amount of food received.

They have authentic hot pots. The only authentic one in oklahoma State. I haven't found others. I know another hot pot restaurant in OKC but that restaurant just put boiled water in the pot. But golden Phoenix put broth in the pot which is how an authentic one should be.

As a first time patron, I needed recommendations and was pleased with the choices offered. Very tasty food was beautifully presented. Pleasant and attentive wait staff.

Food was better than I expected. We got 3 dishes, 3 appetizers and 2 drinks with just 41$. Some dishes that served for the table next to us look really attractive. I"ll comback next time to try it.

The food is usually wonderful or very good but service is always mediocre to say the least. I still go back because it’s consistent with the taste and time the food comes based on when you order.

I only go for the won ton soup and it has been exceptionally good every time.

The food was great, prices were fair and the service was quick. Honestly best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The menu is a little on the long side. You can get anything but might have trouble choosing what you want.

I love this place. Good food good prices. But if you don't like looking at cooked duck heads and such you'll have to tell them to seat you away from the to go area. Very pretty decor for the most part though

The owner is nice, but the waitresses aren't very friendly.

Food was excellent. Waited 15 min to be acknowledged and another 15-20 min to be seated. Once seated service fast and friendly. We will be returning when it isn't a holiday.

The restaurant is a little out dated, the server seems nice. We ordered the family of 8 meal. The food was ok. Kind of Chinese flavoring more than vietnamese style. They failed to mentioned at the register that gratuity was already added to family of 8+. We gave them extra tip. The owner seems very mean. Gave us the dirty look when we ask for the tip back.I wouldn't go back here to eat

Undoubtedly good food but poor service. "What you want" is how they take my order and never a thank you or smile. Please Golden Phoenix train your staff customer service, it's important for long term business growth.

This was the first time that I had been there, but after all the delicious and amazing food, and the wonderful service that we received, I definitely Will be going back for more. Super fantastic hospitality. Ever so friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Was not disappointed in the least. Thank you for an amazing time.

Dead roach found in the hotpot burner!! My family and I have been eating at this place for several years. Had a great selection of food, and it tasted well. However one day, we ordered the hotpot soup. The fuel can ran out, so we needed to change the can. My family opened the door in the burner and we found a dead roach tucked away in a crevice of the burner. I was livid. The staff exchanged the entire burner and let us use a different one. But I felt like we should have gotten more compensation. If there is a dead roach in one of the burners... I can’t imagine how the kitchen is like back there.

My friends took me too try this type of food... It took some time to get waited on and we weren't main priority but we were taken care of. The food was excellent.. prepared in ways I've never seen before.. opens my eyes to other food cultures.. I'll be back. There are so many things to choose from on the menu it can be confusing if you haven't been there before but worth trying different things you've never eaten.

Hit n miss with roast duck and pork. We came in no weekly one month the first time it was ok. Then we came again and it was very tasteful

Consistently the best Chinese and Vietnamese in OKC! The lemongrass shrimp is to die for!

First time here and I really enjoyed it. The menu is quite extensive, but I found exactly what I was looking for: Bun Thit Nuong. Very tasty.

Crispy fried tofu! Get it! (but don't let it sit and cool. Must be eaten hot and fresh).

I came here for a Gastronomy class with a chef professor praising the authenticity of this place. Golden Phoenix has a huge menu and the food usually comes out almost immediately from the time you order it. My Korean grandparents usually pick this place to eat, and our times here have always been good. They have tables that can accommodate big families and groups. Keep up the good work!

Food is not bad but service can seriously be better. The cashier men shown no emotion and rude. Restaurant smells like old rotten fish, dark interior. Overall ok, other then the food. There are so many choices around with good rating. Can skip without hesitation.

Food is good but waitress totally unhygienic. Got the flu after eating there. A lady with long fake nail and she had a runny nose (our waitress).

Friendly service, great food, great prices! Roast duck was delicious! They offer marinated chicken as well as boba drinks!

It was fantastic!!! The best lunch experience I've had in a while. I'll be back with the family. The 7 course beef meal was a hit.

Everything here is awesome! I personally live getting the crab rangoons as an appetizer and then General Tso's Chicken. I always have plenty left over for at least another meal.

The food is consistently delicious. I’ve been here several times and it’s been good every time. They have large variety of dishes and I love that they usually give a bowl of white rice with any purchase.

We loved it here! We were only in town for one night and wanted something other than burgers or fast food. We made the right choice! Plenty of choices on the menu, for the mildly adventurous all the way to "out there :) ." Staff was friendly, we got take out, and we both loved our dishes!
